what kid
Adolis better figure out how to stop chasing.
Wrong.No pujols / no trout…… no problem?
would be nice to see the rangers go in and kick a team while they’re down. Lets see if they have it in them.
He deserved another chance I thought. Our old friend Danny Santana has started off his season with a bang. He is only 3 for 13 for a .231 average, but those three hits are 2 home runs and a triple. His OPS is 1.179.
I hated seeing him go. His versatility and his hitting is missed. So many in the media wanted to paint his 2019 season as a fluke. He just needed a chance to play healthy and be an every day player.
He is a free agent after this year, so we could still bring him back. Lance Lynn too.He deserved another chance I thought.
Thanks. Otherwise I would have missed it. Not real sharp at the moment.afternoon game today

College left-handers to watch for in Draft

Another name to watch as a potential second round pick for the Rangers is Mike Mikulski, a LHP from Fordham.
He is ranked by Keith Law at 39 and by MLB Pipeline at 43. BA has him at 40.
Earlier this year Baseball America had this to say:
On Saturday, Mikulski threw a complete game shutout against Seton Hall. He scattered two hits and struck out 12, with no walks. On the season, Mikulski has 52 strikeouts (15.3 K/9) and 11 walks (3.1 BB/9) in 30.2 innings of work. His previous high K/9 with Fordham was 9.8 in 2019.
After topping out in the 93-94 mph range last year, Mikulski has run his fastball up into the 97-98 mph range fairly consistently so far this season. Last Saturday, he held mid-90s velocity throughout his nine-inning stint. That improved stuff from the left side will have Mikulski moving up boards significantly—regardless of his age on draft day (22.2).
