I brought that up because you referenced the Cheat. Who did they lose to? Yup a team that pressured them all day and played very aggressive D....

I brought him up because he's generally regarded as the best coach in the business and he specifically addressed that they didn't change to a prevent defense late in games, and yet teams came back on them.

Yeah, I understand the point and that will happen. Just don't make it easy on the other team. As EF Huton says, make them earn it. You have two of the best pass rushers in the league use them and make it easier by bringing a 5th. Play off in the defensive backfield if you want but bring some pressure and that's when QB's throw underneath or make mistakes. Look at the 3rd and 16 just before the Bills converted.

The Broncos are playing with fire consistently letting teams back in the game and you know what happens when you play with fire often enough. I have seen way too many easy long plays and conversions late in games this season.

Anyway I'm done, I'm getting tired of myself.

Good video B6482 and very respected insight from you,HOF,Cd and the others. It beats talking about what we need to do vs SD Sun. We all prob agree that we need to run ball effeciently,throw the ball better, pressure Rivers, aggressive D,etc,etc. It`s after the game that reveals more conversation,observation,critiqueing (?) etc, so I think this has been a great topic to kill some time . Everyone has made solid pts and stuck to their guns. One thing I believe is it depends on your personnel you have that dictates whether you use the prevent. I think Denver is better suited to stay aggressive in those situations than play soft. Believe me, I`ve watched them for mamy,many yrs and its come back to bite them more than help them.
