Kicker thread

We need a kicker. I think its pretty likely that we are drafting one. My money would be on a K in the 4th. I know some people will say the 4th is too early for a kicker but we need a kicker. Considering we dont have one I'd say that is our biggest need right now. The draft seems like a great place to get a kicker. Likely K's will start coming off the board in the 5th where we dont have a pick, so I think getting the guy the Lions think is the best option in the 4th.

Where should we get our kicker in your opinion?

There aren't any kickers coming out this year who are projected to go before round 6 or 7, and no real standouts. I expect them to sign a journeyman vet, maybe bring Kickalicious back just for camp. Maybe they sign a rookie as an UFA.

That other kicker we signed- Giorgio or whatever, is supposed to have some real pop.

He was working with the same kicking coach at the same time as Kickalicious, and said coach commented that "Giorgio" (can't remember his actual name, too lazy to look it up right now, even though that would have been faster than typing all this, but I digress...) was head and shoulders better than Rugland...
