Yeah who was it a couple of years ago. The press released it before the parents knew and Bo banned them from practices for a while.

I imagine it takes a little while to get a hold of the parents. It's not like you got their number down on the practice field. Plus you want to have slid info first. Not a well he could of torn an acl or it might jut be a pulled muscle. Will let you know.

I agree with your statement, it takes a while to get ahold of parents. Injury news shouldn't go out from the team until you know exactly what's going on.

As far as DL - I also saw the reports of Bo saying he has good depth. I look at it as, no one has experience except Randle, so how bad can it be to lose someone. Our biggest problem last year was Bo&Co didn't play the young guys early and then stuck with veterans thinking that was going to help his defense. This year, not choice but to play them and if nothing else there will hopefully be some fight in them.

Don't tell me to relax man LOL.

I still stand by my old post. He's a squatty bodied space eater which worked great in the 2 gap D. Earn that spot by being an aggressive, quick play maker. He's yet to show that.

Valentine is just a bigger better version of him, and Collins is the best player on the team.

Our DL is going beast mode this season.

Our LBs are also going to be 100 times better.

I don't really miss Gregory that much. Such a talent, but such a head case. He only went 100% half the time and I'd rather just have a less-talented guy working overtime. Back in the early to mid 90's we had D-Linemen that weren't the most naturally gifted, but they had a mean streak and went 110% at all times.

I don't fault him for being open. Sounds like he's been working hard for what is his last year as a Husker and thinks he's got a shot.

If anything it's put the other DT's on notice that they're going to have to work to be the starter.

Riley has already stated Collins is a starter. So VV seems to be Williams' competition.

Close competition can't be all bad......You want to rotate and keep fresh bodies coming all the time anyway. That was the McBride way, no?
