I'm going back to Cleveland.

After Game 1 of the NBA Finals, that’s when it really struck me. Sitting on the sidelines, I never wanted to play in a game more than that one. I had dreamed of playing in the NBA Finals and I just wanted to help my guys win. I couldn’t have been prouder of them as they poured their blood, sweat and tears onto the court.

Yeah, of course I’ve heard the free agency rumors. But at the end of the day, and after meeting with my teammates (it turns out pools are great meeting places) and with the front office, it was clear Cleveland was the place for me. We’re all on the same page and we’re all in. We have unfinished business and now it’s time to get back to work.

TT for 80+ million is a mistake, IMO. we'll see how it plays out I guess.

Unless they can figure out a way to move varejao (seems impossible)

For Cleveland its about 1... that's all that matters
lol.

as a boston fan, i understand.

i never took those 80's titles as mine, i didnt get into basketball til the end of the original big 3. larry slamming his face off the parquet, reggie lewis dying on the court, and kevin mchale by himself...

Good move by Love and the Cavs. It looks like they are bringing the core back. I hope they don't bring J.R. Smith back. He was horrendous in the finals.

Its an overpay... but with their cap situation there was no way to replace his production any other way. I guess they could've played hardball with him and forced him to seek restricted offers from other teams, driving down the pace... but at the end of the day that would've just created hard feelings on both sides and saved Gilbert a little more money (which I don't care about).

Once the cap jumps... this contract goes from 'awful' to 'kinda bad', which I can live with vs the alternative.

Bad move for Cavs. They are better with mosgov and Thompson getting the PT.

Love can't third wheel it and sucks on D.

Bron proved he wasn't needed. Just Kyrie.

About 20 million too much for him but were all in on the short term. Balls deep

Winning despite his absence doesn't prove he wasn't needed... especially given their eventual loss in the Finals in spite of one of the greatest Finals performances ever from LeBron.

People forget that the Cavs really started to click with Love... they were the best team in the NBA over the last few months in terms of W-L
