You would think trading Spezza and Bobby Ryan would appeal to Melnyk, since the team would become cheaper and they could build the team that way, but I don't get anything that's going on over there

the most important thing that we will see in the trade is the clearing of Kesler himself, long time rumours had him quite disliked by most of the team. That in it self is good for chemistry.

I think Bonino will slip into the 2C spot only because we dont have a second C he will be a pretty solid 3C and PP guy, he will improve our PP alot. He will also be coached well (not saying he wasnt in Anaheim) and he will respond well to the coaching unlike kesler who followed the baseline but never used his teammates. Sbisa is unknown to me but had high praise early in his career. I think he could be better than he showed in Anaheim with our D Core. The draft pick we got and the player we selected with it is nice. He will be interesting to watch down the road assuming hes not as big a douche as he showed in his first interview, Ill chalk that up to being drafted much later than expected and surprising.
