Exclusive footage released of Kesler making his way to Anaheim.
EA sports test lol
Bonino 49 points, Kesler 43 pointsSo what do you guys think, good return for Kesler? I think it's okay, nothing to do cartwheels over, but better than probably what Gillis would have received.
he's not wrong, but i sure like the group of 26 and under playersSportsnet Pacific @SNETPacific 1m
Ryan Kesler says the #Canucks are "years away" from being a contender.
I'm starting to run out of Canucks I hate.
If they trade Burrows and Danrick I'm fucked.

seriously, Kesler CAN be a beast, but he hasn't been the 2011 version of Kesler very frequently since then
He could be a monster if they put him on the top line, but he's still behind getzlaf at C, so who does he get - Maroon and Palmieri?
I was hoping for more, of course. but it's done cleanly, and there's value in that.
Kesler wasn't the 2011 beast very often before either. I'm very happy this jack ass is gone
Be careful what you say... you never know when he might be hovering right behind you.
its not a shit deal. you sound like canuck fans on twitter. lol. Bonino is not a shit player we add another 1st round pick and the biggest huh is Sbisa your right that they got cornered because of Kesler but its not a shit deal its an average deal that has some potential upside but time will tell
We'll see. lol Where do you think Bonino plays in your lineup? Also, just not a fan of Sbisa, he's been overrated since he started as a Flyer. I don't like his game at all. lol
It was a good deal for the Canucks, especially since Kesler acted like Marty St. Louis did, by only allowing his team to move him to 1 or 2 teams - it's hard for any team to make a great deal when a player acts like a prima-donna and doesn't let them trade him to more than 1-2 teams
This deal might not have been great but the sum of everything that the Canucks have done so far is very good - the Ducks might regret this because Nick Bonino was getting better and he fit their system well - Ryan Kesler had one great year but besides that he's had injuries and hasn't been dominant - and we'll see if he can co-exist as the second liner behind Getzlaf, if things go wrong, Kesler will start whining that things aren't going his way
Jim Benning is doing a great job so far
Everything you say is true, and before we were all exiled from FN I made an argument for McCann being the prototypical 2nd line centre that teams should be banging down the door for. Vancouver is infinitely better after Friday, and more importantly Ottawa are significantly weaker for having turned down what I'm guessing was the exact same package (or close to it) for Spezza.
Everything's going to hell in Ottawa, they might as well trade Bobby Ryan too and just completely tank - start accumulating millions of picks and tank for next year
But the Sens are going to keep a high salaried player unless they find a good deal, when they're not going to contend and the owner doesn't want to spend any money
it smacks of 100% ownership meddling.
