So after almost 3 games- did we really see enough to say he can't be the back up next year. ?? No I don't think he is gonna be the next Romo, but I have seen a lot worse wear the Star

IMO If we go into the year next year with Moore as our #2 QB we will deserve the disappointment we will feel when Romo gets hurt...
Well who do you want as a back up? Compare Moore to the other 2 we had this year. I thought he played better. He went down the field more. Those were his first real games. I know he isn't Romo, but i think he showed he can play a little bit.
I'd gladly take Wentz in the 2nd and Keenum in FA if at the right price. That's like saying one piece of shit doesn't stink as much as the other. I'd rather go with two new rookies than what I saw this year, it's also the reason I wanted to see showers for at least one game. Next year I'm hoping for a healthy Romo, a different FA (RGIII is my preference) and draftEd QB (2nd, 3rd or 4th round)

If he's released I'm all for it. It's all about the money though.
Who is Jerry going to pick. RG3 or Johnny Footballk. He's gay for both of them. lol
Problem with RGIII is a similar problem Kaep has. Sure they both have a great arm, but it is the brain that concerns me. (kinda important for a QB)Hopefully no trades for our BACKUP, right now that eliminates JF, the Redskins will have to release RGIII soon or pay the man 16M. If the Skins find a trade partner I think his new team is on the hook for the 16M, unless they work out a long term deal that will pay him more than 16M over the contract. Don't want a multi year deal with RG, incase he never gets his legs back. If he's cheap and cuttable I will welcome him, if Jerry ties him up I'll be upset.

I know you're not saying that.I see RG as the lesser of the 3 evils being linked to Dallas, plus I've said for a long time if healthy RG can cause defenses nightmares. No I'm not calling for RG to be our future ten years of greatness.
The Rams will put a 2nd round tag on Keenum if they don't have a trade set up. Keenum is good enough to be a #33 - #42 QB but I don't want him coming back as a starter. You could probably get Keenum on the bottom tag level, ($1.6M), and the Rams 6th for the Cowboys 5th. Foles would also be available as a back-up if you were interested. The Rams will have to eat his $6M roster bonus and once that's done all he's due is $1.75M.I'd gladly take Wentz in the 2nd and Keenum in FA if at the right price.
I could be wrong but I don't think any team will break the bank on RG, if a team does I hope it's not Dallas. I think He'll sign a year contract with a team he has the best shot at starting, that may eliminate Dallas, but Romo uncertainty has to be in play at this time.I know you're not saying that.
Only a skins fan can say that with a straight face
Side note: I don't think RG III will come to a team cheap. He still thinks he is one of the best out there. & I wouldn't want to pay what I think he would want to be our back up.
There is no way I want RGIII here, but I don't think you can question his intelligence. He always seemed pretty intelligent to me. My issue is I'm not changing the Offense to fit his skill set for a game or two and am not sure he is the ideal fit for our offense, especially as a mid-game replacement if Romo goes down.Problem with RGIII is a similar problem Kaep has.
