So the Skins are gonna roll with Howell if Brissett is only slightly better in TC?preseason. That decision is about 12 games too late.

The shit below actually and literally triggered me I was afraid to post for 4 to 6 days because of the shit i wanted to say after I read this bullshit.

WTF!!! I think RR has tryin to get me to slap my momma when he said this ignorant ass shit.

Ron Rivera Presser: “We are roster building for the first time and feel really good about what we’re able to do.”

WTF!!! to the 2nd power. The kid is learning/growing, but lets wait till the last week of the season to play him.

Ron Rivera said there was a point late last season when things started to click for Sam Howell and he took more reps as the No. 2 behind Taylor Heinicke. Rivera said he noticed Howell started to quickly pick up and correct mistakes from earlier.

Another issue that should be resolved or much closer to resolved last year.

Rivera said that adding a third running back to the position is a priority. Will have some players currently on the roster who will compete, but there are options in the draft and free agency as well

I think Gonzalez is far ahead of all others at corner.

Porter
Witherspoon
Banks
DJ Turner
Ringo
Forbes…it would be fun to watch two bean poles play when we go against Philly

so you have Banks and Tuner at #4 and #5? Im hearing Forbes is climbing up draft boards.

I could see them targeting Torrence on a trade down if Skoronski is gone. This is assuming Paris and the tackle from Georgia are gone.

Smoot was on Sheehan's podcast and he said he feels Porter Jr. could get exposed by smaller wrs. Said he could struggle in zone.

Really talked up Forbes. Said he's the closest thing to Suace in this draft. Said he was the fastest and was the best ball hawk. They both went to Miss. St.

Smoot watches a lot of college ball, but both of them being from Miss. St. makes me wonder if that is a factor for Smoot's praise.

As far as CB4 I think it might be Forbes even though he's 170 soaken wet.

im hearing Forbes is climbing up draft boards. Thats the first knock I heard about Porter. IF Forbes is the best cover Cb in the draft who cares how much he weighs. Kiper loves this guy and now Smoot. Interesting prospect.

i think Ringo is overrated and Forbes is underrated, he has tremendous production in back to back seasons.
Devonta has played well for the Eagles, not saying i want Forbes at 16 but i wont punch the TV either

im just hearing his stock is going up on Forbes. Ringo might not be in the first round.

Yep.

Size goes along way on the defensive side for me.

I thought Turner is small and fast. Banks has good size. I think its Banks/Forbes for CB#4 and #5

if you weigh 160 going against a 220 pound WR, you will lose.

sure at the line of scrimmage. IF he plays off man and zone should be fine. Did you see how productive he was in the SEC? I had that same viewpoint until I watched his tape.

Even off man because there is contact at the top of routes. The likes of Deandre Hopkins, Devante Adams, and AJ Brown would have a field day.

So you guy’s think Gonzalez is the top CB in the draft even over Porter Jr? If we take a CB I definitely hope it’s Gonzalez

Logan Paulson likes Deonte Banks over Porter Jr. Said Porter Jr. Is a project with a bigger upside but Banks would be ready week 1.

Porter has something that can’t be taught…size. Our corners will be huge with BSJ and Porter…just like Seattle’s were. Sherman was a complete bad ass.

I am a huge Penn State fan .... sort of like duke commenting on Tenn. Porter is sort of like a BSJ guy. Porter Jr has really good man skills. Manny Diaz became DC last year. His style of defense is HIGH pressure, bring people from everywhere. I see Joey as a really good man CB .... okay as a zone CB. Under JDR's zone match scheme he might do well but it might take time for him to adapt to that. JDR might not be there that long. Would I take Joey, yes. Do I think he would have some things to learn yes. Does he have the pedigree, yes.

Porter's lack of INTs concerns me a bit. Those PBU are great but turnovers are better. I won't be upset if he's drafted though. His daddy is scary lol

Porter Jr. right now would be my pick all things equal but he's been getting a lot of hate lately.
