I'll admit that I'm not very good with trade evaluating. But this seems like a fair trade. Both are top 5. I guess it all boils down to who you like more. Or who will help you more long-term.

I'm partial to Marshall. 193 targets with a poor offense. And now the offense will open up? Sorry. I don't think I helped much.

I know I'd rather have Dez. But can't really argue one way or the other. Basically comes down to personal preference or who you'd like to root for more while your watching on Sundays.

If I'm team A I stand pat and try to deal Marshall, if I'm team B I'm trying to make the deal as I have Marshall ranked #2 and Dez #4. Either way, I hope you're team A.

Dez is younger and has a higher ceiling. Both teams look like contenders to me, but holy crap team A is nasty.

Team A is only slightly nasty, still can only keep 4 of the 5 guys listed, so someone is getting cut.

So I guess the real question is, out of Dez, Marshall, McCoy, Julio, which 2 would you want on your team for this season and potentially the next 3 seasons?

I think I would go with Dez and Julio ahead of McCoy unless you have no chance at getting a start-able RB in the draft.

I only say that because I feel like each of those guys could be elite WRs for the next 5 + years. You can use 1 in your flex spot and all you have to draft would be a QB, TE and a bunch of RBs. With all the fantasy relevant rookie RBs this year, you still have a pretty good shot at drafting a good starter.

I would rather have McCoy for this year, but I don't think he will be keep-able for nearly as long as the other 2. If you are confident in your ability to replace McCoy in a year or two with another stud, then maybe you drop Julio. Still though, that is a really tough call.

I've got Marshall as my keeper and was disappointed in his latest comments. Something about how he doesn't expect to have another monster season and that he's hoping that the ball gets spread out more evenly this season with all receivers. Hope that he's blowing smoke up the reports a$$ but I would expect him to come out saying he can't wait to go back out there and perform again

Marshall was diagnosed last off-season with "borderline" personality disorder "whose essential features are a pattern of marked impulsivity and instability of affects, interpersonal relationships, and self image" (breakin' out the wiki).

So he could say anything, and he'd say it for weird reasons. I'd only pay attention to his on-field performance and ignore what comes out of his mouth.

I hope so, just would rather a guy saying positive things then telling me he doesn't expect to have another season like last

Upside or safety?

Dez has a chance to be a top 3 receiver i not #1 overall. Mad talent and with an injury prone RB Romo might have to throw a lot. But Dez can melt down any time or Romo falls in love with the Whitten check down.

Marshall will be 90-100 receptions, 1100-1200 years, 5-7 TDS. I don't see much higher of a ceiling but I see less chance of a turd.

Go for the glory or play it safe.
