The sign of true baseball fans...it's Christmas Eve and we are debating the merits of catchers.
honestly though, preseason is the best part of fantasy sports... there are so many strategical conversations....
I would bounce David Wright, speed is about gone and not hitting for power like he used to, think people like him because of what he USED to do.
Yep. It doesn't even kill me to admit it anymore. He can still have his moments, but that's about it. Moments.
Also, if this is a daily lineup league, it gives them more value imo.
i do agree that Wright is no longer a good keep... BUT i don't see many good keeps on this team... don't really see an alternative but to keep him... And unless it is a daily league, i would rather keep Wright than D'arnaud
Hang onto 'em both.
assuming they get the extra UT.. If not should I still do it?
You keep both catchers because of the daily aspect... with it being daily it doesn't matter how many games a player misses, since you can always just swap them out... And having 2 startable catchers will easily get you to the maximum games for the catcher position... AND THAT IS HUGE....
Switch Wright out... So now I am keeping both. When it gets switched to "8" supposedly in February who else should I save?
with the daily I would also keep wright... Honestly, with daily I will always keep the highest ceiling guys no matter the risk... injuries are not a huge concern with daily because you just take the player out... Wright is still definitely in your 8 best players...
Dickerson could be a great power/average guy. I would find a spot for him paticularly if he doesn't get traded from the Rockies.Dickerson over Ramirez, for me. D'Arnaud for the 8th.
