Switching gears, how much value do you guys think Charlie Blackmon loses if he gets traded to St. Louis? I think the stolen bases will still be there, but I'm wondering how much of an extent he was a product of Colorado power-wise.

Any Colo player loses a lot, look at Tulo's numbers in his short time with Tor

Could be, although I'm not sure it's fair to judge him by that time alone; dude was emotionally distraught and all that. Still, it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out he was much less a force on the road with the Rockies.

Until we know where he hits in the lineup I would avoid him. Looking at his numbers last year he walked under 50 times AND had only a .288 BA. That does not sound like a top of the order guy. Which will likely mean he will hit more like 6 or 7. And with pitchers hitting 9th it will kill his fantasy value.

But then again those numbers were better than kolten Wong. So who knows. Only thing is Blackmon is not young he is going to be 29. So he may have a very short leash if not successful.

Do you think heywards value increases on the cubs? I think he will be batting second.

I don't think it changes... He has always been a decent OBP guy so being a top of the order continues to be a plus... Maybe he can hit for more power in a better hitters ballpark... But besides that small uptick, I don't see any increase in value... At least there is also no decrease in value...

He's getting paid to get numbers. Hopefully for his sake he will be able to do it.

What is Justin Upton's stock value now that he signed the deal from Detroit?

Compared to Padres Upton, the uptick should be pretty big... Always nice to go from an extreme pitchers park to at worst a neutral park... Not sure where he will be hitting, but he will definitely be anywhere from 2-5... and there he will be hitting around Miggy, Vmart and JDMart... that should help either his RBI numbers or his Run numbers, and probably both... so you can definitely expect him to have numbers closer to what he did with Arizona... He for sure is a top 10 OF...

Can't disagree with this. If his RBI and Run numbers don't shine, the Tigers will have made an expensive mistake.

Upton did better at home than he did away last year but going to AL should help and in a much better line up:suds:

The way they are talking about Upton. He will be batting 2nd, right in front of Cabrera. So he should get plenty of pitches to look at.
