Keeper League decision... (input appreciated)

Okay, so it's a 10 team league with 3 keepers per team... heading into the third year. Every year there's 3 keepers so keep that in mind.

My keepers this year: Tom Brady, Matt Forte, Victor Cruz (pretty mediocre, I know)

I finished in last place last year so I get the 1st overall pick and I have a VERY difficult choice to make... lots of talent available that won't be kept.


Potential draftees: Alfred Morris, Stevan Ridley, Maurice Jones-Drew, Rob Gronkowski, Frank Gore, Julio Jones, and Wes Welker.

I'm leaning towards taking one of Morris, Ridley or MJD obviously... trying to make a final decision here.

is it a ppr league? If not cruz should not be kept......you can grab julio

Heck if you could keep forte, and grab julio and MJD or Morris Id do that, just me though

Agreed. Do you have to keep 3? Do you have anybody but Brady to keep? In a 10 teamer you could probaly redraft Brady in the 4th and if not you could still get somebody else (Ryan,Staff,RGIII) in the later rounds. Does the draft snake?

I actually could keep Andrew Luck or Stevan Ridley (just picked up out of Free Agency)

I do need to keep 3 players though. It is a PPR league. I'm trying to find the right combo of players...

I essentially have to pick 4 players out of Brady, Luck, Forte, Cruz, Morris, MJD, and Ridley.

But obviously I can't keep both MJD and Morris... they are both in the draft pool so I need to make a decision out of those guys.

I could go Brady-Forte-Ridley-Morris (what I'm leaning towards) Though I'm giving MJD a long hard look.

Not sure about keeping Luck over Brady.

I have to select 3 keepers on my roster and MJD and Morris aren't on my team. They are both still owned by other teams that aren't keeping them so they'll go into the draft pool. I have to keep 3 out of Brady, Luck, Ridley, Cruz and Forte.

Then I have the first pick and have to decide between MJD and Morris.

I could pick up Randall Cobb out of Free Agency I suppose... so I could go Forte-Ridley-Cobb and then decide between MJD and Morris. (leaning towards Morris)

No... MJD and Morris AREN'T FA's. Cobb and Ridley were the best two and I just picked both up so I could keep them. MJD and Morris are both still on other teams rosters but they already set their keepers and they will both not be kept.

Only thing is there are some injury concerns about Cobb right now... I think I might like Brady better for this year too. I'm leaning towards going Brady-Forte-Ridley and Morris.

A lot of good QB's are already being kept as well so I'm thinking I'll stick with Brady.

QB- Brady
RB- Forte
RB- Morris
RB/WR- Ridley

Not a bad start I guess.... I'll probably take two receivers with my 50th and 51st picks which are the next two rounds after the first one.

I'm still not sure about keeping Ridley over Cruz actually... I mean Cruz is valuable in a PPR. Ridley isn't really proven either. I could even go Brady-Forte-Morris-Cruz. I can't make up my damn mind, lol!
