And how is someone who took his team to the Conference Championship game be overrated? Do you sometimes listen to your own B.S?
the team went to the conference championship game before Kaep was even the starter. So far Kaep has basically done just as much as Alex Smith with the team

Oh no! A 66 passer rating in limited time in the PRESEASON. Our season is surely over. :bawling:

And our stadium serves expensive food. :bawling:

Bent over is correct.

The concessions price increase comes after large ticket cost hikes. Overall, the cost for two face-value nosebleed seats, a couple of beers and a pair of hot dogs at Levi's will cost $243, up from $88.50 at Candlestick. That's on top of a new seat license program in Santa Clara that runs $2,000 to $80,000 per fan for the right to get face-value tickets.

Glad you caught my last punchline :)

Good lord. $243 for 2 beers, some seats, and a couple hot dogs? Call me a poor fan but at that price I'll just stay at home and put $243 towards a 20 year scotch, some great snacks, and extra towards a 4K res TV.

You guys really care this much about the food they serve in the stadium? LoL

At that price? Jesus.

Look I don't think anyone here is bashing the 49ers TEAM. Obviously from my avatar I'm a Hawks fan, but this goes beyond the 49ers/Hawks rivalry. All this does is set a precedence for NFL teams gouging their fanbase when they go to games.

$28 for a F***ING HAMBURGER? I don't care what kind of meat is in it.... that's just ridiculous. Beers costing $75 and likely a bud light will be $16 at that rate. It's not long before other NFL teams start doing this and regardless it's BS that Santa Clara is going to charge the piss out of 49ers fans. They already need instructions on how to cheer, last thing they need is to discourage a fanbase from enjoying an NFL game.

Hopefully 49ers fans boycott the prices and just don't show up, but there's always people that make enough that'll go. Wow.

If this is what the NFL is trending towards, I'll just stick to attending baseball games and enjoying NFL games on a 4K res TV (which I'd rather do anyway to be honest. Football is too much a game of inches and there's no great time to leave the stands to get food/drink).

Football is pointless to attend these days IMO. Way too expensive for a game I'd rather watch HD and zero chance of missing things in comfort of my place. And the team makes way more by me viewing via TV than being at the game. Advertising is where teams make the big bucks... not the ticket sale of ONE guy.

If you don't want it, then don't order it. There you go. Problem solved.

Do you discuss all of the stadium menus or something? Jesus Christ. Who cares?

Well considering this was kind of a trolling thread to begin with I'm not sure you could have expected anything better. I mean no reasonable person takes anything away from a preseason game, but I'm sure some of your own fans are likely not happy about the new food prices and seat prices.

Amazing to me that these stadiums can get away with these charges in this era of every game on super high resolution TV's at home. I don't go to the clink either because I'm not paying $300 for two of us to catch a game and those are freaking high corner cheap seats. It's insane, but as long as there are waiting lists for tickets it isn't going to get any better any time soon.

It's the 2nd preseason game. That's when the starters play 1 to 2 quarters.

Kap out so fast is cause for concern. Kap gets injured and it's Gabbert time. Good luck with that. Kap should of got way more snaps today. He needs the work.

I am calm. Was your point was something other than bitching about the expensive prices? If so, then please enlighten me.

If you don't want to pay for an expensive meal, then don't. If you don't want to pay for an expensive beer, then don't. If you want don't want to pay to attend a game, then don't. Seems pretty simple to me. Not sure why stadium food is such a big deal to you guys.

And why is feeding the Seahawk fan taunting such a big deal to you? :L

I noticed you passed right on by my post to you and went again right after those really going after your team and new stadium. I wonder why...

I didn't think your post had much of anything important and worth responding to, so I didn't. Sorry?

Same with this one, but I at least wanted to be courteous and explain in case it caused any confusion.

Right, you only respond to trolling and taunting and have no interest in actually discussion topics. Noted for the future. I'll be sure to treat you as nothing more than an empty 9'er troll from here on out. Thanks for clearing that up.

Well actually, my first post was about the actual game. Specifically about Kaep's performance.

I did notice the other conversation and figured I'd address that as well. Yea, they were just trolling and I responded to it. I'm honestly not sure why you're being so critical of that, especially for someone who claims to enjoy feeding trolls. Seems hypocritical to me, but I'm sure you have an excellent reason for that. Not that I'm interested in hearing it.

Anyway, I digress. Think what you want. Doesn't matter to me at all. Have a good night.

This.

That long pass looked almost perfect to me. Lloyd had a step on the defender and the pass was right over the shoulder. Lloyd short-armed it - didn't even attempt to reach out for it. Not sure what the deal was, like he misjudged it or something. Plays like that just may cost Lloyd a roster spot.

Had that pass connected, Kaep's stats would have looked much better. But aside from that, I thought Kaep looked fine. He's getting better with his progressions. First receiver isn't open, 2nd receiver isn't open, check it down.

Now our backup QB's are an entirely different story.

Looked to me like Talib gave him a little push right before the ball arrived. I was surprised it wasn't flagged. That almost certainly affected Lloyd's ability to make a play on the ball, something that he is unusually good at doing. I will be surprised if Lloyd's cut.

You're right. There was a little shove that I was expecting to get called. I was still expecting Lloyd to make more of an effort, but I can see how that would disrupt him.

At this point, I'm going to give Lloyd a 60% chance of making this team - he has the inside track at cracking the roster. He definitely would have made the team last year, but not so sure about this year with the addition of Stevie Johnson and Bruce Ellington. Lack of special teams just might be what gets him cut and we may end up keeping a guy like Osgood instead.
