Kansas State not Texas is NU's Big test!

After watching Texas, KSU and NU play games that actually posed some challenge on Saturday I am more convinced than ever that that will be the tougher game for Nebraska. K-State is 1 dimensional and the bodes well for NU but texas looked completely overrated. Look at what TT did to Gilbert think of what the NU secondary will do.

KSU will be fired up for that game on Thursday night. It will quite possibly be the only time this year they will be on national tv, and they are good at stopping the run. Snyder has spent a career trying to stop QB's like Martinez, so I think they will force him to throw the ball.

I am not saying we get a loss, I just think it will be the tougher test, than Texas at home.

This guy knows just a little bit too much about Nebraska and their schedule and their history......he's a bitter Husker fan from Disney who is pissed because he "wasn't accepted well" here on SportsHoopla when he first came over....

As for the topic of this thread..........KState and Texas are both big tests, and I am very worried about KState.

With that said, like irule pointed out, we have 2 extra days to prepare for KState.......and actually beings that we take on South Dakota State this week, the coaches might not say it but they are looking ahead to that KState game already.

It's extremely important we get started off on the right foot, and Bo's not gonna let it happen any other way.

Also I think it's important to point out that because of the Thursday night game against KState, Nebraska also gets 2 extra days to prepare for Texas to come to Lincoln. Schedule really sets up well for Nebraska.

We could gear up to stuff the run, but Snyder's history with trick plays makes me believe he will have a few up his sleeve - I never count out the mildcats. They have too many former high school qb's on their squad not to pull something sneaky during this game.

I agree with Irule about scheme. Carl Pelini says the NU DB's are so good NU has the luxury of going one-on-one with anybody. That will greatly help run support..

as long as you guys don't sleep on it Kansas State should be simple, all you have to do is stop their runningback and that's really all they have. you guys will be hard pressed though to find a way through Texas's defense while they will have the same issue that game will be interesting.

texas also has 2 weeks off before the trip to NU, and they will also be looking to rebound coming off a terrible loss to OU. I'm not predicting they win but it will be a battle at the LOS. As I said before the chore of containing 1 RB @ KSU is something I think Bo and Carl are smart enough to figure out. There were some worry warts afraid Locker was going to give it to us and he was supposedly a dual threat, ol Jake may have well just went on to the house instead of in to work that day
