overal he's looked good. skillset wise he's similar to griffon, but having that extra year+ to sit and learn makes him better prepared as a pocket passer.

TD passes are a little low, but I believe he has ran in 2 TDs as a starter, yes?

Anyway, its better to be on the top of a list like that instead of the bottom, but it obviously doesn't give an accurate picture with Tebow above Rodgers.

yep, we expect a lot from our players and especially the QB. but no matter what each of us think of Kaep today, at least Kaep hasn't struggled or worse yet, bombed.

he has three more regular season games to get better, along with everyone else on offense.

I posted this somewhere else, but the most encouraging comment I heard yesterday after the game from Kaepernick was that "the game was slowing down", that's what you want to hear from someone after 4 games who is that athletically gifted.

I'm more concerned with James Laurinaitis' comments after the Rams win, saying that either by formation or what certain players were doing... that they knew the 49ers were passing. In particular the play that led to the safety, the 49ers gave away that it was a pass.

G-Ro needs to figure out what it is that is giving away passing plays and fix it.

That could also be that Kaepernick is still learning to read defenses and calling the right audible in those situations.

Chicago - Brilliant
New Orleans - Did enough to win
Rams - Poor
Dolphins - Not too bad.

this makes sense to me, but we all anticipated growing pains. so as long as it gets better even just a little bit each outing.

it isn't all on Kaep either, everyone has to get in sync and improve their consistency.

we each have our own opinion, but he is doing fine and winning. it could be a lot worse so at least it doesn't read:

Chicago - bad
New Orleans - bad
Rams - bad
Dolphins - bust
