I don't know if that's the best way to phrase it. Was he invited to work out? I thought he was just working out and invited teams to come see.

It's been reported that the NFL put it together. It seems to come out of nowhere, and the teams and Kaepernick have been given very short notice. Pretty weird.

He's good enough to play in the NFL. Can that really be denied based on some of the QB play we are seeing?

He'll be the best looking Cowboy's Cheerleading in the last 30 years.

I'm sure all 2 teams in attendance will be thrilled watching an average QB that is over-reliant on his athleticism and past his prime to see just how big a circus he can bring to their organization while adding no perceptible amount of quality to the roster.

This is promising. Teams are actually reaching out inquiring about this workout. I hope he gets an offer.

Now that you mention it, he would look very comfortable in Broncos' uniform.

Cost v benefit. If there's a team that thinks whatever benefit he brings is worth the cost of hiring him, then they will. It's really pretty simple. How much talent he has is only half of the discussion.

Broncos better be one of those 2 teams there.

I think I’d rather stick with Trubisky than bring this clown and in. And that’s saying something! Who else is with me!?

On second thought, don’t answer that...

He had a chance to play in Denver. He turned Elway down.

(Yes, Elway wanted to bring in Kaep. Shows just how much he knows about the QB position in the modern NFL.)

Better not be. Elway wouldn't get fired, he'd get lynched. Broncos fans are not happy with how he's handled the QB position recently. If he brought in Kaep, he wouldn't make it past the weekend.

I would be willing to try anyone other than who is currently on our roster

I don’t think we will find anyone better for this year. We just need to ride the year out. Maybe Trubisky and Nagy start to click. If not, bring in a replacement. Maybe draft a guy and bring in a replacement and see how it plays out in training camp and the preseason.

My last comment on this thread.

Elway tried to trade for him when he was still a 49er and asked him to take a cut in pay as well.

Kaepernick said no. And this was even before the kneeling thing started.

Over and out.....
