If you were the Niners and Eagles gm would you explore this trade. It could work for both players and teams.

Niners would get Bradford along with the Eagles 1st or second round pick and the Eagles would get Kaepernick along with a 6th pick or nothing.

Bradford is accurate which is something the Niners haven't had at QB in a very long time and Kaepernick is exactly what Chip Kelly wants. Its a win/win in my book

I'm guessing you meant 6th round pick. The Eagles would not give up a 1st or 2nd round pick for a 6th round pick. No team would. I won't even mention the two QB's right now because neither one has much trade value at the current moment.

That sounds very tempting but there is no way Philly is going to give up a 1st or 2nd round pick in that deal.

We have their second rounder, even Kelly is not dumb enough to throw in a first.

Bradford AND a 1st round pick? lmao, yea that's not happening.

Seriously, I read this title and got excited that maybe the trade had happened and I hadn't heard about it. Sadly that was not the case.

Haven't seen Bradford play, only read a little on him. But just so i can throw in 2 cents, agree if this was really explored, would be close to mano-a-mano?

They might throw in a LATE pick to make up for his running ability, but otherwise, more like an even swap.

BTW - don't think Kaep's fits anyone's style anymore, because his passing side is too inconsistent. Even Chip Kelly needs a QB with passing skills.

Please no Bradford is really bad. Guy can't stay on the field. If Eagles throw in a 1st and a 2nd maybe.

Nope. kaepernick is garbage but Bradford is immobile and injury prone. he wouldn't last two games behind the 49er O Line.

Why Bradford? Why not just trade Kaep for a 1st straight up from them without Bradford. That way we have 2 1st round picks. 1 for a QB and another for OL help.

Well, for one reason, no one in the league is going to give up a first round pick for Kaepernick.

I don't know why anyone would want Bradford. Im watching him again this week and He is really bad. I know Kap has struggled but his track record is way better then Bradford. Only way I do this trade is if we get a 1st and a 2nd. I would think about it with a 2nd and 3rd and next year 2nd.

That's the only reason I would want the trade, for a high draft pick.

Curious, but what do you think the best SF could get in draft picks by trading Kaep straight up?

The more Kap plays the lower his trade value becomes....he should have been benched after the AZ game...maybe a change of scenery with a competent coaching staff and a decent O line could spark a career revival, but his time in SF is running out quickly.

Regarding his trade value, there's really nowhere to go but up at this point, but I get your point.

Wouldn't make this trade for anything. Kaepernick is not the answer but I wouldnt want anything to do with Bradford. The Rams were probably shocked when someone actually had interest in him.
