High ankle sprain, only 3 weeks left in the season. Will Parks will start. Guessing Dymonte Thomas comes off the PS.

Simmons hd a decent 2nd year... 100% effort guy. Never gave up. All out every play. Needs to work at his coverage ability this offseason.

Parks looked good against the Jets as did Carter so this isn't the worst thing to me.

Right- Good chance for those guys to get more PT in too. We need to decide if Parks can be a starter or not for us with Stewart's contract sorta being questioned now. Jamal Carter is a guy I wanted to see a bit more all year but not a lot of room for him here before the injury other then special teams.

At 4-9 putting guys like Leary and Simmons on IR to finish out the season is smart, IMO... If we were in the playoffs we wouldn't do this, but why keep them on the active roster for the last week or two of the season? Let's see what we have behind them.

Good opportunity to see McGovern, Parks and Carter as all 3 figure to be in our future plans.

Don't like Simmons at CB...

His biggest weakness is coverage. His strength is coming up and helping in run support tackling/hitting and reading and reacting.

His size would be nice as a CB, but I think you expose his weakness and take away his strengths by moving him.
