Wow. Horrible assessment of Fields. The kid just doesn't have it. He can't read defenses and can't anticipate, he only has legs. At this rate, we may have the top 2 picks in next year's draft. Caleb Williams must become a Bear if there's any hope at all.

Looking at the schedule I don't know who we're going to beat.

On the lone bright side on offense, I like really like Roschon. He should start over Herbert.

Yes ut is a very good watch.....I seen some of it earlier this afternoon.......
And I tell you that the Kmet play showed worse in this video than on tv....it was not going nowhere.
All 3 lineman zeroed in on Kmet as soon as he lined up behind Patrick......na absolute horrible call.
Next play on 4th down,Fields tried sneaking it up and over....WEAK VERY WEAK try....
As the video showed,he had both feet in a line rather than at a stagger to get a better push.....and like the author said" Did they not learn anything from Philly and help push the JF thru the line"......??....pathetic,absolutley pathetic.

And I thought Foreman was going to be the guy to do that type of dirty work to keep JF from getting hurt.......
They fucked those two plays up big time......

And as a guy at work said tiday he thought Getsy still works for GB......

Welp…It’s official now. Our quarterback is a punching bag again. Fields getting absolutely roasted by the media and fans all over the place.

Even though we were the worst team in football last season, it was nice thinking our team had a potential QB of the future, and having influences outside of the Chicago bias see it that way…but no. Meet the new boss…same as the old boss. Fields is done man. Crucified like all the others. And we suck too.

I mean…It’s still not as bad as losing the NFC championship at home to the Packers then listening to the media rage on Cutler for going to the mall for two weeks. That will always be the lowest low. But I am sad.

I'd be curious to see the assessment this week given it was an even worse week. But having dove into the schemes I think it's extremely apparent (and is repeated multiple times through the video) that on many plays the offense isn't even remotely tailored to set him for success. He's not making good reads so you simplify...unless your goal is to lose every game I guess.

BOOM...

You tailor an offense around your QB...

Exactly and if he isn't top 5 QB then you just need to invest in multiple running backs, Oline and defense to try to win you ball games and make sure the QB doesn't turn the ball over. But then again the days of having great defenses in the NFL is behind us.

Maybe ____________ (insert QB name here) is not the franchise guy we were hoping for.

But maybe this 20-year list is where it needs to change first?

Getsy
Lazor/Helfrich/Nagy
Loggains
Gase
Kromer
Tice
Martz
Turner
Shea
Shoop
Crowton

They need to take a page out of what Baltimore did with Action Jackson....

PS: Not saying Fields is Jackson-like....just saying they need to utilize a similar offensive game plan/offense.

The solution is simple for this season -- keep Fields and he'll lead the Bears to another high draft pick.

yea I mean...the backups are terrible. we've seen the Petermann story already.
May as well let it rip with Fields.

Tell that to Dallas.

I think it is too early to know what teams are this early in the season I think at a minimum 4 games is when we can truly start to gauge. Besides the Giants and Jets offenses aren't exactly worldclass offenses. It would have been cool to see Aaron Rodgers out there.
