If the Bears can block Atkins it's a wrap, they win easy. They dont get that done they score only 10 point and that wont be enough, they need to score at least 20 to beat the Bengals

I don't agree with that. Even if they block him, the fact that they have to double team him leaves our ends 1-on-1 and they can cause havoc. Atkins, even if blocked opens everything up for everyone else.

thats true, I shoulve said if they can get to Cutler it's gonna be ugly, if not it's gonna be a Chicago party.

Read the thread, I think both D's will dominate this game and it will not be a high scoring affair. Your teams D is very good and talented, but so is our D. Think most of us Bear fans will be watching the R side of our O line with much anxiety to see if Long and Mills play up to the pre season ability v. quality #1 DT & DE. Our division is full of them, between Detroit and GB. This will be a good test for us.

I think the only advantage we have is Cinny not being able to scout out the new Bear Offense, they can only guess. Your advantage, we may be starting a rookie MLB, and in the cover 2, if he doesn't get back into that deep middle... ouch.

Should be fun, best of luck.

No worries. A guy could be wide open down the deep middle and its still only a small percentage shot that Dalton hits him.

I like both of Cincy's TEs. And TEs have given us headaches in the past. If Gruden uses them could be a long day for Bostic & us.

Just curious Bengal fans. Who's starting opposite AJ @ WR ? Sanu ?
And I can't believe Sanzanbacher (spelling?) made your 53. You will be disappointed in his play.

Sanu is listed on the depth chart, but Jones will play alot there as well, and when they go three wides, Sanu will usually move into the slot. Sanzenbacher had a great camp, and probably made the team because of his return ability.

Sanu is better in goal line situations, he is like a skinny Tim Tebow.

Another Bears fan That shares that concern(for at least the early part of season). Despite #54s diminished physical skills, he knew where to position himself and remained a force in pass coverage until his last snap. Bostic, like a lot of rook LBers , he struggles in pass coverage. AFAIK, hes the starter this Sunday.
I like others, see a lower scoring affair. Should be a good one.

Sanz looked great in our 2 previous preseasons also. He actually made few plays that counted. But #1 DBs beat the heck out of him. Sometimes he looks like a rag doll running a route. I liked him also his first year here. But then we got a new GM , and some real WRs.
Just sayin, don't get your hopes up too far for this guy.

He's something like our fifth or sixth receiver, and when Hawkins comes off IR-return he probably will be cut, anyway, so I am expecting nothing but hopefully some contributions on special teams in the meantime, if he even suits up.
