I just want him and Dwight both out of LA basketball. They should get together in Houston and have a championship celebration before they ever even practice like the Heat did.

Anyone else think that point guards are a little devalued right now? Even as a top 3 PG, I don't think CP3 has as much leverage as a guy like Howard who is coming off a very subpar year

You only say that because chances are, Howard leaves the Lakers.
Same circus as last year but he ended up with you. Plenty of other jerks on your team, but that's
Ok with you as long as they are on your team.
You are not consistent with your 'hate' and reasons for hating.
That is why, IMO, it comes across as nothing but petty and or jealousy.

Clippers. There hasn't been hardly a sniff of a rumor he'd go elsewhere. It's possible his camp is just extremely good at keeping things quiet but typically you at least get a sense that other teams may peak his interest in a serious manner. Like 99% of all respected outlets I've read seem to say he's not living LA.

Wherever he goes....

first round loss with decent players
first round loss with decent players
first round loss with decent players
first round loss with decent players

Zero Criticism.

CP3 is the most Teflon coated player in NBA history.

Lebron, Howard, and Melo could get to 10 consecutive game 7 finals and still get ripped by the media.

Chris Paul has played with a lot for washed up players. Is it his fault Blake Griffin/DeAndre Jordan has yet to develop a post game?

This guy never had a championship level team yet. If Blake was more like Kevin Love then the Clippers would be a threat to win the title every year.

Look at the vets on his team this year

Odom-Washed up
Billups- Done
Hill- Done

How this guy led the Hornets to the 2nd seed that year is beyond me. Your hate for Chris Paul is ridiculous.

Blake Griffin is the first half decent/top 20-30 player he played with.

He's also gotten 1* coach fired, forced his way out of a city (something Melo and Howard got killed for), and is pretty demanding on the court. People complain about Kobe's demeanor towards his teammates but Paul is just as berating, if not more.

(*Possibly 2. A case could be made for Bryon Scott as well but so many of the Hornets quit on him it didn't matter)

Melo got killed?

Paul admitted he can be a better leader

First off, they only won 56 games for that #2 seed.
It was a flukey balanced year.

It was not CP3 leading a team to a dominant high seed.
It was more like a bunch of semi-decent western teams falling in a bit a random order of finish.

The #1 seed through the #6 seed won at least 55 games..... the #8 won 50 games.
One bad bounce, and that Hornets team was a #6 seed.
So, lets not pretend it was a typical dominant #2 seed season.

As for personnel:

That Hornets team had a dominant David West at his best 20/10 self.
Tyson Chander was a defensive force and very capable rebounder/shot blocker.
(11/11 guy every night while shooting 63%)
Peja Stoyakovich (while not his MVP caliber self from SAC) was still a very good wing player who could chip in 15-18.

There are a ton of guys who could have won 56 games with that roster in the 50 win crazy 2008 season.

That was not a garbage roster.

That was not some miracle that Chris Paul pulled. That was a very talented starting unit.

And just about everyone won 55+ games that year in the West.

Tyson Chandler was a bust until that year when CP3 turned him into the player he is now. Basically it was CP3, West, and a bunch of role players.

Your point? You're acting as if Chris Paul took the current Phoenix Suns roster to the playoffs.

Top PGs are overrated anyway. The last time a top PG won a ring, it Magic Johnson, over 30 years ago.
