Georgia Tech may also be a player for Devoe, but I'm not sure on that.
Woot woot.
With Houston getting one too, that's three four star players committing to the AAC in the last week or so (UConn, Houston and now Cincy).
Good look for the conference.
Gotta keep an eye on Wichita State too. They're already top 5 good.
Told ya not to worry about that one.![]()
Over the weekend on OGBoards, a couple of posters who have sources on the inner Winston-Salem basketball scene said that Mucius has been in the bag for Wake for quite some time now.
Wake's class is up to #5 on Scout and #9 on Rivals. Its not going to stay that high as other high major schools start to get more commits, but its nice to see for now.
Hoping Wake will be able to finish this recruiting cycle off with either Devoe or Ayo.
I miss Wake being good.
Big Eric Williams was one of my favorite college players of the 2000s.
Not sounding optimistic for UConn on Jalen Carey either.
Although getting Emmit Matthews, who is probably going to be a late rising 4* would help out alot. REally probably need a guy like him more than a Carey (positional/size wise) anyway.
Syracuse fans seem pretty confident on Carey.
they're the only team lying to him about him being a true PG.
Sounds like Rodney Purvis. He thought he was a PG, but in reality, he's a SG. That's a major reason why he transferred from State.
The same guy that said Mucius was in the bag in Wake, is saying the same thing about 2019 PG Anthony Harris. Its early, but Harris is a consensus 4*. As we all know with recruiting rankings, that could fluctuate in a major way before the final 2019 class rankings are released. Landing a PG in 2019 makes more sense than landing a PG in 2018, since we still have Crawford and Childress. Staff knows more than me though, and they went after 2 top PG's in 2018. Even though, they did get involved relatively late in the process.
