First of all im not a fan of PFF. Remember when they told us how good Jeff Backus was? Secondly...I read the article, I agree somewhat. My take is this. That is not a corner friendly system we played last year. Int's are usually generated by pressure, we got very little. Qb's knew a blitz was never coming...so when you have all day, who is most likely to be open? The answer is the guys on the outside. Anywho...I thought Glover Quin played like garbage last year at times. I was hoping he would improve now that he will be back to his more traditional safety role. But apparently the Soccer players at PFF have him rated high. In conclusion...I think the defense will be pretty good this year, and with the offense scoring in bunches that should be good enough.
