You are defending him by coming here and posting. Saying most players do this is defending him. Most players don't do this and especially publicly. I read your post just fine. Link me the amount of times a player alluded to targeting others players or straight up threatening players without caring about any fines or suspensions? I owe you nothing. I never slammed his behavior. In fact... I said I wish the Eagles would pick up more questionable character guys. But yeah, I'm a complete fool for bringing up Dez's character. He was a top 5 pick that slipped into the 20s because teams shied away from his character.

2. After lying to the NCAA about the nature of his relationship with former NFL star Deion Sanders, Bryant was suspended for the remainder of the 2009 season... NO?

Do I wish Dez was an Eagle? Hell yeah. But to sit around and act like Dez doesnt have character issues after blowing up on reporters. Blowing up on the sideline is ridiculous. Is Josh Norman a clown? And Dez dodged a MAJOR MAJOR freaking bullet when he ran out onto the field against Detroit in the playoffs. If the refs picked up the flag but hit Dez with a 15 yard penalty (which they should have) giving Detroit a first down and a playoff win Dez would have got CRUCIFIED for the lack of control. Im not ripping the guy cause I wish we had someone as good as Dez... but to say "pitch a tent over the circus" because I said Dez had character issues is just stupidity.

2. And criticizing Dez for the NCAA incident? This is just flat out baloney. He wasn't sure of an NCAA rule(a rule that hardly anybody knows) so he was easily coerced into lying. Suspended for a year because he didn't want to admit to something that he wasn't sure was a violation or not is flat out egregious. He should have been given 3 games tops, but he was suspended for a YEAR. He wasn't covering up any kind of crime or anything and yet he got a year. And it was just as much the fault of Deion Sanders for not letting a teenage kid know that just talking to him wasn't a violation. Like I can't even believe anybody holds the Deion Sanders thing against Dez. Any teenager could have been coerced into lying in that situation.

Doesn't automatically mean they are doing anything wrong. And the reports of this conveniently came out around the time Dez was trying to get a new contract.

4. Yes, there were concerns. You are 100% right here, but all the concerns you mentioned, you don't know 100% the facts of. And black athletes are always closely watched, especially when they have the kind of upbringing that Dez did. The critics just waiting on him to fuck up.

Don't know if he punched his mom or not. Only they know the truth. But I do know that Dez's mother deserves just as much doubt as people have about Dez. Some of the things Dez does on the football field, I DO NOT LIKE, and those are the things I mostly criticize him for. But the off the field issues in question, I can't really judge without knowing all the facts even if I do think they were distractions and question marks.
