From the clips I saw from last nt he appears to be handling himself well. Yes - the Redskins don't have the same front 7 as Panthers (they will work that over time). However - nobody is maintaining that the Redskins defense is on that level or that Norman is supposed to get them there. He is being asked to make the defense better & I believe that he will if healthy.

BTW - it is not as if Norman has no help. Breeland will certainly give him a very good CB partner and folks like Kerrigan & Preston Smith also will make things not too bad. I also expect signs of big things to come from Cravens.

No not many, but Deanpet is pretty excited about the Skins D. Granted he's full of depth, so his thoughts should be taken with a grain of salt.

Over the top fans - we all have them! I am excited about the Redskins but more so for the next 3-5 years and not this season. That is why I am not worried if the team is thin in certain areas. Somebody like Norman - if he works out - is being counted on well beyond this season. In the next several years they can acquire talent in other areas & I feel they will since SM and not Snyder is calling the shots. We will see - I am not worried about it.
