If the players are willing to give up some cash in the next bargaining session the league will let them do black tar heroin and horse tranquilizers. All they care about is getting as much of the money as they can.

Don't want to practice as much and the first few weeks will will terrible? No problem, as long as you don't ask for more money or guaranteed contracts.

both. one cant differentiate in legal states like mine.

but the point stands...the nfl has relaxed its views enough on pot to be involved in studies.

Being involved in studies and approving it are entirely different.

Because they pump guys full of opiates and shit but frown on the therapeutic benefits of pot.

No money for big pharma.

Soon it will change.
It will change only after the players make monetary concessions to the NFL.

i believe they do. some idiot called up local radio yesterday saying the pats should give calvin johnson a call.

none of the hosts said a thing, so i called and corrected them. only time ive called a radio station. the lions own his ass and wont let him go.

same reason barry sanders never came back. the lions owned him, and wouldnt trade his rights away ever.
Detroit could have swallowed their pride and got draft picks for both. Just a dumb organization.

does the league give this kid another shot? i think they have to at this point, especially with the changing views on pot in the nfl.
Godell thinks weed is a gateway drug. His majesty is not going to allow pot to be smoked by NFL players.

IMO, the league (we know the players are) is ready to make pot legal, but until it's federally legal I don't see it happening aside from medical reasons.

To answer your question...do they give him another shot? Probably.

It will change regardless. It's called progress.

It's a business and not sure how many companies allow their employees to smoke weed or drink alcohol. What is the Avg career of an NFL player 5-8 years? Your getting paid millions to perform on a high level, no pun intended. Put the shit down , make millions and then you can smoke your barins out for the next 50 years, fucking dopes. I don't smoke weed but the people I know that do, seem lethargic, slow and somewhat out of it. At least the other PED's enhance their performance. I think that's why Randy Moss took a lot of plays off, because of the weed puffing. Drink a lot of booze too makes you underperform and play like shit. LT was on the yayo, so that sped him you and not a depressant
