Joique Bell would like to add kickoff returner to his repertoire in 2013

Wasn't sure anyone read this. I would be happy with Smitty or Micro back there instead of Logan. Sure MikeD would dissagree:2cents:...
Anyone know did he return in college? I don't fell like looking into what he wants to do as opposed to had the LIons said he would return kicks. I have always felt the return guys should be someone who already contributes to a needed roster spot. Logan truly held a spot to return only.

NO I AM NOT SAYING REGGIE SHOULD RETURN... just saying Logan sucked like Raburn:gaah: and was one tool player!!

And when I returned a kick for a TD, I would raise up my jersey to show the camera my hand-written t-shirt that gave a shout out to all my message board buddies. Then I'd get fined and tell Goodell to fuck off and then I'd get suspended. Then I'd be kicked off the team and right back on to the boards. Woe is me.

Bell would like to do anything to stay apart of the mix in Detroit.

Reggie Bush is going to seriously cut into Bell's role.

As for returning kicks or punts...I just don't see Bell as all that elusive or electric like the good return guys.

I would definitely not disagree. Logan has been absolutely worthless for the Lions. Whoever they put back there, as long as they hold onto the ball, will be an upgrade.

Doesn't look like Bell returned kickoffs or punts in college. The few games I looked up, two guys named Chris Burks and Jay Hayes did the returns.

Thanks Mike...for the info! Really am amazed you approve of Smitty and Micro. They had sub par 40 times and couldn't bench press box of Twinkies...

I'd spike the shit outta the ball just like I did on my one kick return TD in high school. Only I wouldn't get a 15 yarder for spiking it this time. I'd get it for jumping into the stands and pounding the first beer I could find. Bell is a scrub, so I'm good with him returning kicks.

First time I ran one back was probably a 70 yarder against a heavily favorited team......I was mauled in the endzone by teammates only to realize looking back down the field about 60 yards was a nice little yellow hankey laying on the ground.......Pfft......

Fastest Right Gaurd Mid-Michigan had ever seen. (possibly the skinniest as well) Until I went back to being a Tight End my senior year. A little reverse Reiff action, back in the day. (Starting RG got a DUI the week of the first game, I wore 86 under my 66 jersey, saved me from having to report as eligible, and still doesn't seem legal:)

Am I the only one who remembers Bell returning some kicks for us last year? He had a couple of decent returns, and then fumbled one right at the 20 yard line that the other team recovered...

I think Bell was a great find. He's a real asset as a reserve RB. 5th in the league in receptions for a RB plus 5.0 yards per carry last season was pretty fucking impressive, imo.

He's no star, "bell cow" back, although I think he'd be an above-average starter. I could see him getting 1,100 yards and 65 receptions as the primary RB if pressed into the role.

But I think he's best suited to be in a RB committee like last year and do a little of everything while not taking too many hits like a primary back would.

Good asset to have, though...

I can get on board with this.....Bell did a bang up job with the Run Blocking offense we had last year....Put him behind the Broncos or 49ers Oline and you all the sudden have a stud.....Bell is just fine, our run blocking isn't.

Ohhhh, I remember the fumble when he took over for Logans stupid ass. I also remember the fumble that cost us a W. I know you love PS dudes TPaul, but Bell seriously pissed me off last year. He'd have to surpass your best case scenario stats for me to come close to thinking he's a scrub. Dudes who don't get drafted, and fumble, should get cut, IMO. There's plenty of other dudes who didn't get drafted, and haven't fumbled yet.
