Hope not, Romo's wife is pretty hot.

HAAAA!!! Like athletes care that they are married. See Tiger Woods picking up skanks who look much, much worse than his wife.

They'd be fools to do it but the hype and publicity would surely be very attractive to them.

Jags aren't interested in publicity. They could have had truck loads of it last year and all they would have had to do was pick up Tebow. Just him sitting on the bench would have created double or triple the publicity the Jags had last year.

And probably bring more fans in the stands.

I love the idea of Manziel and Tebow to the Jags. Nobody wants to watch Henne or Gabbert

Yup, that is why I'm hoping he slides a bit and can ride the bench for at least a year. The kid needs quite a bit of coaching. So far he has been able to get by on his skills alone, but he's going to need to be coached up. Just throw him out there and he is going to get killed, and that one handed stuff he does with the ball is crazy. When he is just waving it out there as he changes directions...not going to work when DL-men are about as fast as you are.

Todd McShay has Manziel to Jags

No. 4: Jacksonville Jaguars - Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
Analysis : This will be a tough decision. Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley is hoping to find a leader at QB who can elevate the whole team, the way Russell Wilson did with Seattle in 2012. Is Manziel that guy? I think the key for Manziel is going to be how he interviews.
Some teams are going to fall in love with his confidence, whereas others will be turned off by him. One reason why I think Manziel fits in Jacksonville is that offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch has proved throughout his career that he can successfully adapt his system to his personnel, which is a must for any team that brings in Manziel, given his exceptional mobility and improvisational skills.
Manziel doesn't have ideal size, but I've been really impressed this season with how he improved his delivery mechanics to get better velocity on his throws, and his improvement at going through his progressions. If he can continue to develop in the NFL, he has a chance to be really good.

Knowing how stupid NFL decision makers are, he'll probably be drafted high and paid multi-millions per year.
The cavalcade of dunces starting in the NFL while VY who was VERY successful his first two years with ZERO support from his coaches astounds me.

Yeah, the Browns or Kets or whoever will pay him millions, then trade him around.

NFL = professional???.

Dallas Morning News: "Can there be more of a match made in heaven than seeing Jerry Jones standing alongside Johnny Manziel on draft night? If there is one thing that can convince Jones that the best move is to draft Romo’s successor, it’s Manziel’s surefire ability to sell tickets and continue making AT&T Stadium No. 1 in NFL attendance even while the Cowboys’ playoff drought continues."

ESPN: "Manziel will be the story of this year's draft. He drives attention with his style of play, with his brashness, with how he has handled the fame since winning the Heisman Trophy at Texas A&M. Wherever he goes in May, Manziel will be a draw. And we all know Jerry Jones loves a draw."

dunno, but I'm thinking his game vs OU opened up a few eyes. I know he hasn't experienced a lot of pressure in years past, but OU gave him the heat and then some and he really didn't handle it well at all.

You and BobStoops watched a different game. Stoops was so impressed, he crossed the field after the game and personally shook Manziel's hand and gave him full credit for being a great quarterback.

Go Get Him Vikings

Have been waiting along time for the next Fran Tark. This kid may or not be the next Fran, but it sure couldn't hurt to see what he could do for us. After that waste of a high draft choice on Ponder, they still need to try and get that franchise q/b. Do what ever it takes to move up in the draft, take another chance. This franchise is not going to get better with what we have now, or with someone else's castoff. He will put fans in the seats, and maybe just maybe, he is the real deal.

Go Vikes !!!

I think he was talking about McCarron's draft stock, not Manziel.
