My mind gets changed all the time.


It just has to require new information to do so. For example, drafting Manziel would move Belichick from one of the best GMs in football to one of the worst. New information changes things.

He does not have a single physical attribute that is above NFL average. He has a weak inaccurate arm, decent mobility for a QB but not particularly good enough to evade even defensive lineman consistently, and nothing else going for him.

I like Manziel. Think he's got some balls regardless of his abilities. He may not be he fastest, but he is quick and elusive. He may not have Mallets arm, or Brady's accuracy, but he can throw. His first option is not "RUN" alah Tebow, if his #1 isn't open. He's not great at any one thing but he's savvy and put's it all together. How well that translates, only time will tell.

This is just a scouting the competition move. The Patriots have had meetings with Bortles and are bringing in Bridgewater for a workout. The Patriots are looking to see what makes these guys tick and how they can read defenses. These 3 guys will be drafted early and likely thrusted into a starting role immediately and could be facing the Patriots in the near future. Due diligence and understanding the competition that is all.

I think AJ McCarron is a better fit, but his draft stock is to high to grab him to sit for a few years.

personally seems silly you only get 30 visits, your wasting them on possibyl scouting guys that may or may not play you...........versus scouting guys for your own team
