I went to Ohio State one year after he left. He actually tried out with the Cleveland Browns as a WR, but didn't make the cut.

I was never a Celtics fan, but I have to admire his skill. Very quick and a great motivator.

Tremendous athlete. He was drafted by the Browns and played one game for them as a WR. He was a pretty good runner in HS from what I hear

I was talking to my Dad last night who just turned 78. He told me about a charity game he went to back in the early 60's that Bob Knight set up. Havlicek, Lucas played. Havlicek scored like 40 in the first half and never took a shot the rest of the game.
