What would it take to get Joe Thomas from the Browns? By the time they rebuild, his career will be almost over. Something needs to be done to protect Rodgers.

According the FOX gameday crew, and Glazer usually isn't all that far off, the Browns aren't really looking to give away anyone else. They won't let Thomas go, and as much as I want him to, TT would never give away draft picks of that quality for one guy.

Yeah Thomas and Haden are the two guys they are clinging with. Josh Gordon is reportedly on the block but with Haden&Thomas off the market right now, not a lot for GB to go after

I love the idea, but see why it probably won't happen. Would be nice to have someone to protect that investment.

And Browns will not deal him... after finding elite QB, finding good/great LT is next important player.

Running backs are fairly dime a dozen to most teams, no matter how good Richardson is, it's easy to move a running back because it's not a running league.

Teams just aren't going to part ways with a franchise left tackle(with the exception of the Dolphins and Jake Long). I just don't see Thompson willing to pull off such a big time deal.

With Rodgers and Matthews contracts plus the list of guys coming up....there is no way in hell we could afford him without completely gutting the core of the team.

Dolphins got rid of him because of injuries... and guess what, now the Rams have him and he just got injured again in game vs 49ers.
