Toddlers and young adults. Apples and oranges.
you said you physically and verbally assault someone and to expect the same in return. I guess you DO in fact put qualifiers on that statement when one person is substantially stronger than the other.

I just read a report from a Tulsa paper who broke down the video. It said Mixon initiated the confrontation by calling a guy at the girl's table a homophobic slur. It also said, when the girl confronted Mixon, he faked as if he was going to hit her. I'm guessing this had a lot to do with the girl not being charged. She had family in high places. That video wasn't sealed explicitly to protect Mixon. The DA punked out on this one. At the time leading up to the investigation, Mixon's attorney made a statement that they intended to ask that the DA press charges against her. This of course all coming on the heels of the Rice incident. Dollars to donuts Mixon was plea bargained down to avoid he and his attorney making a big stink about this. You want to know why Mixon didn't receive a heavier punishment? Besides it being his first offense, that's it right there.
Again, apples and oranges.
A young adult is capable of considering the consequences and effects of their actions. A toddler cannot.
A young adult can be held accountable for such. A toddler cannot.
The phrase "fucking asinine" doesnt begin to describe the comparison you're trying to make.

No, what is fucking asinine is that you believe it is alright for a football player to punch a woman in the face and break multiple bones because she essentially slapped him.
Nobody has said that. Try again.

As far as the video being blocked. It wasn't one person or the other responsible for it. The judge did so, as it was a state law they didn't have enough to release it. It doesn't show an arrest on it, so it wasn't considered public record. They passed a law afterward to change that though.
KnightandDay said exactly that, sir.
You're wrong again.
I said if you assault someone, expect some form of retaliation.
She is not a victim. Period. End of discussion.
I don't give a shit if she's a woman or not, or what either person's capable of.
You verbally and physically assault someone, expect it in return.
He did not say Mixon's actions were acceptable. He said they were understandable in response to the fact that the girl physically struck him first and she does not deserve be to absolved of her act of physical assault simply because she is a female and picked a fight she never should have.
She shouldn't be absolved, but he shouldn't break her god damned face because he can and she barely left a mark at worst on him.
BULL FUCKING SHIT
THAT is what you said. "I don't give a shit if she's a woman or not, OR WHAT EITHER PERSON IS CAPABLE OF. If you assault someone, expect it in return. So because this girl didn't even harm him, he breaks her face and you have stated you are fine with that.
Don't fucking lie if your words are right there for all to see. Fucking lowlife piece of shit.
Nobody is excusing Mixon's actions here. Why can you white knights not understand that? Seriously, I have had this conversation on her ten fucking times with ten fucking posters and every one of you thick headed bastards get hung up on this every god damned time. All we are saying is both parties deserved to be harmed. She is not a "victim". They both committed crimes.
Dude, are you just trolling, or are you really this fucking dense?![]()
Where have I ever defended her actions? I don't care about her actions. She's an idiot for picking a fight she couldn't win.
But he should know better than to do what he did.
Not even trolling, 100% serious. You don't reply in kind with deadly force because someone laid a hand on you.
He reacted on reflex and made a very bad choice. The truth is there were multiple bad choices leading up to that moment. Multiple opportunities to extricate himself from a bad situation. Like I said though, how many here on their high horse can say they would absolutely act with the poise and self restraint they are wanting to lynch this kid for if they were 18 years old and had been drinking, and some mouthy drunk bitch calls you a ni**er and slaps the piss out of you? Not nearly as many of you as you'd like to believe. I pray both learned a valuable life lesson. The kid served his punishment. Let him move on.
You are completely ignoring what I am saying. Seriously, re-read my god damned posts.
