Does this surprise anyone? It was only a matter of time. The press will do anything to get their hands on videos like this.

I'd like to feel bad for Mixon, but he has no one to blame but himself. It will cost him a lot of money though if his end goal is the NFL.

Dear God I hope that's not true. Joe Mixon will be the second coming of Lawrence Philips. I mean - I dearly hope that I am wrong about that, but I have to say it doesn't ook good at this point.

It's better for him if it comes out now. People like me get their jollies but he has already been punished so they aren't booting him off the team. OKST fans are thinking this will force Stoops or the AD to resign but that isn't happening. By next spring most of this will have blown over.

If the video gets released next off-season though, well at least for him the Cowboys will look past a lot of shit if they can get a cheap FA into rookie camp.

I agree it is better now than before the draft. Without the video being released, at least he can put up a defense. Once the video is released, it turns into Ray Rice all over again.
He has served his time at OU and rightfully so, shouldn't be punished further. If the NFL is where he wants to go -- he will have quite a few teams who will completely remove him from their draft board. It only takes one team, but being a RB and already having one huge strike against him, will end up costing him a ton of money.

Btw, this doesn't mean the video will be made public. It means they have the right to sue to make it public. This will continue to draw out for a while.
