It wasn't up to them to release the tape, dumb ass. It was sealed by a judge at the request of Molitor's fucking attorney. All three of those people were forthcoming with the information. Nobody was given or offered hush money, and the Norman fucking police department didn't try sweeping anything under the rug.

Not sure who told you Molitor's attorney requested the tape to be sealed, but it was sealed by the judge because the video wasn't part of the court record. The court actually turned the video back over to the business -- who stated they would not release the video. Molitor's attorney also had a copy to be used during a civil case.

In the end, the release of the tape doesn't mean much, with the exception of getting to see Stoops and OU hierarchy squirm and make excuses to try and save face. Without the tape being released -- none of those involved would have said another word about giving out, what was basically a redshirt to a true freshman as punishment.

It is what it is. When you pay people millions of dollars to coach a game -- they will bend over backwards to accommodate anyone who can help them win.
