If we beat Colorado and win our first 2 games in the Big 12 tournament. I was kinda thinking that last night, but didn't want to get ahead of myself.......that's why I said we would need to win the first 3 games.

Yesterday many of the bubble teams lost, including Baylor..........but Nebraska goes and gets a huge quality win. We are now on Lunardi's bubble again today. That surprised me a bit to see that, but we are on it.

Anyways, if we beat Colorado that actually goes down as a quality win as well..........and then beating another quality opponent in the Big 12 tournament would boost us to 9 quality wins on the year, and likely get us AT LEAST one of the new play-in spots that they added this year in the NCAA tourney.

Still a chance.

Richmond plays @ St. Joes tonight............and they really suck. So if St. Joes could somehow pull that one off, that would be huge.

Memphis plays @ East Carolina tonight...........possible chance for upset there.

Clemson plays @ Duke tonight............they're toast. They also play VT the game after that, which they very well could lose also.

Baylor of course plays Texas on Saturday.

Colorado State plays Utah tonight.........possible chance for upset there.

Maryland plays at Miami tonight............very possible chance there.

Games in bold are all games happening tonight.

Joe Lunardi is one of the few NPSE analyst that actually knows their shit. If he says it, it's most likely true.

Maryland and Memphis both lost!

Richmond won, but that was expected.

Now Duke will more than likely beat Clemson (game starts now).........and Nebraska suddenly moves up the ladder.

Also still to come tonight, Colorado State vs Utah.........need Colorado State to lose.

really????

those two teams are horrible

if Nebraska is seriously competing against them for a bid they should take it easily

Alabama, BC and Maryland aren't great either

How is Michigan or Clemson ahead of them?

those two are terrible teams that really don't even belong in the tournament conversation.

Yea, it's mostly because the Big 12 is so solid that Nebraska is in 7th place right now..........and unfortunately Nebraska loses the popularity vote to those two teams as well.

We have wins over Texas, Texas A&M, and Missouri..........but we won't get the credit we deserve because the Big 12 is just so strong and we lost a few games that we needed to win.

yeah also the Big 10 is getting too much love this year

they were supposed to be good but due to Illinois, Minnesota and Michigan State all sucking that conference dropped greatly and should only get 4 bids this year(Ohio State, Wisconsin, Purdont and Illinois)

so is the ACC

Duke, UNC, and Virginia Tech are really the only teams in that conference that should get bids.

Yep........popularity always plays way too much of a role. Just watch some of these games in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Teams are gonna get rolled by 30-40 points, and a team like Nebraska could very well be playing in their place and actually be competitive.

of Lunardi's first four in, last four out, next four out these are the 4 I believe should be in

Richmond- they have a good amount of quality wins and only one real inexcusable loss(they have two others that may look bad but when you really look at those teams they aren't too bad)

Nebraska- loads of quality wins should get them in even with losses to Iowa State and Davidson

Witchita State- why is everyone so down on this team? they have only one bad loss, that's more than many other teams can say

Colorado State- good team, they have some good wins but some bad losses, better than the teams behind them

my first four out

Baylor- if they beat Texas, they jump ahead of Colorado State unless Colorado State beats San Diego State.

Alabama- they lost to the Peacocks of St. Peter's but they played well in the SEC.

Boston College- they have some good wins but they lost to Yale(really?)

Colorado- they also have some good wins but they lost to the Dons(and no that's not short for Mastodons) of San Francisco.

next four out

Maryland- they don't have a lot of wins on their resume but before tonight they had no bad losses, of course those idiots messed that up by getting a bad loss by losing to Miami of Florida.

Clemson- lost to Michigan, South Carolina, Florida State, Virginia AND Nc State, and Boston College, Florida State and College of Charleston(yes them) are their best wins? plus 24seven thinks they suck. yuck

Memphis- ummm when you're fighting to get into the tournament you don't go off and lose to Rice, UTEP and ECU.

Michigan - when you have losses to UTEP, Indiana, Northwestern and fading Minnesota/Illinois and your best wins are Michigan State? Clemson? Harvard? Oakland? I have bad news for you, you definitely don't belong in the tournament, heck this is barely a NIT resume.

Bama plays in the worst part of a division that seriously blows.
UGA will take care of them this Saturday. Don't worry

This is awesome. I thought we were dead to rights. We were flat lining and I didn't notice the faint pulse we had after we beat mizzou... GO BIG RED.
