Obviously there are a lot of teams looking to rebuild. Is there any chance that we could persuade a team like Cleveland to trade us Joe Haden? We could really use a player of his caliber and it would absolutely be worth a couple of picks to get him. Would anybody else be on board with this idea? Would either team ever consider it?

He'll be a higher profile name to consider... he was up n down IMO... I think he'll play good then be on the bad end of a highlight reel or GW play against him.

That would be awesome. Don't see it happening, but Haden had a breakdown towards the end of the season. He is so tired of losing. He just lost it in an interview after a game. Would love to go get him. It would cost a fortune.

good question about price... I wouldn't be opposed to gather interest so if they say a 2nd? I'd do it....

I'd trade them our first and say you can keep Joe Haden, but we get Josh Gordon.

Browns top pick Joe Haden agreed to terms on a five-year deal worth $50 million, with $26 million guaranteed.

That was back in 2010.

Just one year left 2010 counts as a season. He is due to make 8.8 million this year and then be a free agent in 2015.

Shit, with all the contracts we have coming due, no way we could resign him.

No thanks it would require at minimal a 1st and 3rd and we would have to pay him 10 million a year? I like Haden but it would cost too much to get him. Now I would be down for a 1st for Josh Gordon.

There are some good CBs available in free agency. You take the savings from Rogers and sign one plus keep your draft picks. I wonder if Vontae wants to play with his bro. I think he graded out as the #3 CB for PFF.

How much would Vontae want though?
