To me the Top Tier has one name on it: Aaron Rodgers.

So he's clearly not second tier.

I have him around 13-15th. And a lot of that is that now proven to be flukey playoff run.

he lost the game last year, taking away a lot of the previous luster.

I'm sure its been said before, many times... But Flacco is one of, if not, THE best postseason QBs in the NFL. Why that doesn't translate into the regular season baffles me. But until he can prove himself all season long, then he'll remain on the 2nd tier.

He had one very good post season run and basically sucked like Trent Dilfer other wise. You could look it up!

He's an enigma. Every time he's counted out he turns it around and is money and then when people get on the bandwagon he goes to crap. I liked him since he was at Delaware but his consistency leaves a lot to be desired.

You compared him to Dilfer. So I'm gonna do this comparison instead...

Flacco: 10-5 / 56.6 comp. % (not great) / 3,223 passing yards / 25 TD's & 10 int's
Dilfer: 5-1 / 43.7 comp. % / 971 passing yards / 4 TD's & 4 int's

And you say Flacco is just like Dilfer.:L

One "very good" postseason? 11 TD's 0 INT's and well over 1000 passing yards? It's one of the best runs a qb ever had. And he's only had 1 game with a qb rating under 90 in the post season since 2010. I get it, you don't like him. But comparing him to Trent Dilfer is ridiculous.

Yeah. His first two seasons were pretty awful, BUT he won 3 playoff games.
2 of those wins he went 4/10 and 9/23 with no TD's. But they were still wins.

All told he was 3 wins 2 losses after 2 seasons, with 57/120 (47.5%), 1 TD and 6 INTS.

Well they are very similar when you count the # of rings...

... of course then he's just like Peyton, Brees and Rodgers too!

So his defense has been carrying his mediocre ass except for 2011 when Anquain Bolden and the defense carried his mediocre ass.

Got it :thumb:

Flacco has never had a great defense. When he won the Super Bow his defense ranked 22 going into the playoffs.

U just don't know do u? lol

I live in Ravens country, so I totally get why they love him. The guy doesn't say much on or off the field. He just plays football. He throws a beautiful deep ball. He runs better than people give him credit for. He plays to his strengths and the strengths of his team... and that's smart.

He's a rock solid NFL QB. There are 20+ teams out there that would LOVE to have this guy. Maybe more.

I'm glad he's not a Jet.

Combined in Brady's best years 2000-2004 he threw 11 TDs and 3 int's. For a

In 2012 alone Flacco threw 11 TDs and ZERO int's.

No one thinks Flacco is elite. But he is good enough to win a ring with, as he has shown.
