I see this as even, Staal will take it to the next level playing with big bro, so the extra's were worth it.

Sutters kin never really stuck with the 'Canes, so no a huge break up.

I'm kinda torn right now. Staal is amazing at what he does, and there is so much more for him to accomplish being 23. I wish him and the brothers luck. I'm sure it is a boyhood dream for them.

If you go by "best player wins the trade", the Canes surely win this one... however an eight overall and a nice prospect gives the Pens plenty of upside, and Sutter is an awesome young third line center. It'll take a few years before we know who really came out on top... I have a feeling this is going to be one of those trades where both teams can call themselves winners.

/I hope the Staal brothers argue in the locker room over who has to take a shower first, who gets to use the hot tub first, who left their towel on the floor, who was supposed to pick up the Legos that Muller just stepped on...
