I don't care who will be the starting QB this year provided we don't pay a fuck-ton of money and a lengthy contract. Everyone knows that the 2023 draft will be laden with very good QB's.

Signing Mayfield as a free agent isn’t as big a deal to me as you may think. Rather it did not happen, but if it does it does.

I don't think any move at QB would really change things much for us.

My opinion is that this is currently a 5 or 6 win team with Lock/Geno, Mayfield would maybe get us 7 or 8 wins, even if we still had Russ I think we'd have the ceiling of a wild card team with an early exit from the playoffs.
