Surprising and interesting. It helps that they can combine trips to play their division rivals - both Tampa & Florida and Washington & Carolina are less than an hour apart by plane.

It makes me wonder if the NHL might ultimately wait another year to tackle realignment. With unstable situations in Florida and Phoenix, they might want to wait to see what gets resolved this year and if there are any further moves (or longer term solutions or stability where those teams are now) before making any changes.

Calgary has less travel than they have in the last few years. I think they were around 55,000 last year.

I am interested to see the number of back to back games the teams play. The last three years the Sabres were in the top three and last year they were number one with 22 back to back games.

I want answers and I want them now ! :boss:

Simmer down, big fella, plenty of time to worry about that, the bigger concern is Sunday afternoon and the Pats.

Well the way the Sabres have been getting boned, I'll take the 13.

I think I remember that 22 number of back-to-backs, which is crazy. The Sabres are running the table this season anyways, Boss...

15 of the top 17 teams on that list are from the Western Conference. The Atlantic has 3 of the bottom 4 and the entire division is in the bottom 9.

If I was a coveted free agent (especially an older one) I know where I would be headed.

In contrast the Pacific Division has 4 of the top 6 and San Jose is the only team not in the top ten (11th).

Well, that's 4 starts for Henrik Karlsson, I guess Miikka gets the other 78 (lol)

LMAO! I know how you feel !! But now we have a very good back-up so I shouldn't worry about it too much.
