A Butch Hobson classic.... A losing opponent offers the chance for a meaningless December victory, leading to an offseason of overly optimistic puff pieces about this garbage franchise. It's the most wonderful time of year.

The Jets just ran a team in playoff contention off the field. A good week for a let down from them. They can tank this game for a better pick.

So Dalton comes back next year. AJ gets franchise tagged. Chase Young gets picked number one overall. Mike Brown spends big in free agency. 2020 playoffs?

No doubt Mikey forced Zac Taylor to put Dalton back in. This is just the game they needed to sell the remaining 12 fans of this team to spend money next year. No changes will be made and more of the same will take place.

Can we give a round of applause to the New York Jets? It's hard for me to think of watching an NFL team appear to be less interested than they were today.

Washington and Miami both won. Giants now officially the biggest threat to the Bengals number one overall pick.

Which wouldn’t be ideal but they wouldn’t be players for Burrow. I would think they would take Chase Young.

However, we can’t afford to drop lower than #2.

True. Also keep in mind Miami has the draft capital to trade up if needed.

The thing with Burrow is that there really isn't a pure passer dominating in the NFL right now. Kirk Cousins might be the closest? Its athletetic freak QBs excelling. The Goffs, Ryans, and Rivers style QBs are struggling

The Giants picking first would do the Bengals a huge favor..... I can't see them trading out of that spot. They could take the best overall player in the draft in Chase Young.

The Bengals could then take Burrow with the 2nd pick and not have to worry about blowback for skipping on Young.

The Bengals shouldn't pass on Young. That is absolutely insane to skip on him. We should lose next year with him also, but he will make our dline dominate again. Then next year, we have a chance for Fields or Lawrence with our top 5 pick.

Rebuild our damn defense, our offensive line, then worry about a QB next year. We have a year of Dalton still. Worst case scenario, we try to sign Teddy Bridgewater in FA then let cut or trade Dalton.

I think we finish in front of the Giants. The Giants will take Young.

Nevermind... I just looked up the Giants schedule. They have the Eagles twice, the Redskins and the Dolphins (in NY)..... They'll definitely win again.

I don't know. Dolphins and Redskins are looking better. Giants are not.

I can see us winning again also. Somewhere. I just hope 2 wins still nets us #1 overall for Young.

Take Chase Young #1.

Franchise Green. Trade him to Washington along with our 2020 2nd round pick, and 2021 1st round pick for their 2020 1st round pick. Then draft Burrows with that pick.

Giants will not be taking a QB, neither will Washington, only one that will...Miami. I think they take Tua.

just a fantastic win. A bengal win for the ages. I'd venture to say, 'a perfect win'

don't count on people offering a whole lot in trade for a player that's injured half the time.

Bengals don't do much in free agent, except filling roster spots. we rebuild through the draft. it's going to take some time.

Mike Brown is still in charge. Nothing will change.
