Check out the crowd rookie

Thats the Olympics set on a world stage once every 4 years.

Tell you what, go find the largest fan attended track and field meet other than the olympics in the US and I'll best it with golf from that year.

There's a reason Golf is televised on main stream TV and Track isn't.

Johnson averaged 86ypg. Rice 75. Moss averaged 70.

Johnson averaged 15.8ypc. Moss 15.6. Rice 14.8.

Johnson also retired by age 30 so his average is not weighed down by his latter years because he was still young.

Johnson and Moss played in a more pass friendly era where teams passed more and you couldn't hit receivers the same way in Rice's day. Rice had 1,211 yards receiving in his age 40 season. Johnson and Moss were long retired before 40. Rice was just built differently than anyone else.

Look who was throwing to Rice, then look who was throwing to Johnson. I rest my case.

It seems like Stafford is pretty well regarded around the league. Also, Rice had 1,211 yards receiving at the age of 40 with Rich Gannon as his QB.

I mean Gannon won an MVP which is way bigger of an accomplishment then anything a lions QB that threw to Johnson did

Stafford isn't exactly a scrub. No. 1 draft pick. Very well regarded around the league, and some believe he'll make it to the Hall of Fame (which I don't agree with). However, if your argument is that Johnson is as good as Rice, and that the difference was that Rice had Montana and Young, I think that Rice producing 1,200 yards at age 40 with Rich Gannon, while Johnson produced 1,200 yards at age 30 with Stafford in a more pass friendly era, goes to show that Rice is simply on a different planet.

I think at best Stafford would be the 3rd best QB to throw to Rice
If we are going based on yards and difference in era then Largent > Johnson

You mean Johnson’s only 9 seasons?
Hmmmm, didn't give it that much thought.

Tell you what, you go ahead and choose. If we don't agree afterward we can cosult RaZon the human know it all punching bag to decide if we're moving the goal posts.

Cool. That took a little bit of effort but it's clear we both agree he was a career cheater.

Like I said yesterday had Rice played for your Pats the majority of his career you'd have a different opinion. But that's okay. You ignore the fact your team has been caught cheating multiple times. Hypocrite much? Yep.

Just find it funy how you always disagree with everything.

That MVS team was doing something different and they had it down. They were destroying the opposition, wipe outs. I can't see anyone being able to stop it. First off nobody could hang with Rice, and Willie Totten was as good as anyone that season. Sure no 70 to 10 games but can see 32-28 vs a power five team. And unlike what we see now LSU 88 Savannah State 7, we;d see none of that, more LSU 34 MSV 17.

lol

With very, very few exceptions, there is a reason players that are playing at HBCU's (or any lower division) instead of D-1 schools. It's because they aren't good enough.

This isn't basketball where one great player can lead a smaller school with far less talent on a deep playoff run or to an upset of a big school.

I don't have a problem with his cheating at all. I just want to make sure that all the astericks get spread around fairly and evenly.
