I didn't get why they wouldn't be interested in smoothing the cap either.

It caused a handful of average players to get contracts they didn't deserve.

You can add Austin Rivers, Tyler Johnson, Jeremy Lin, Biyombo and Kent Bazemore to the list.
Probably for the same reasons the owners locked them out until they agreed to give up the majority of % on their salaries- even though they're the ones that actually play.

The owners weren't interested in compromising with the players then- and they actually expected the players to want to compromise when the ball was in their court again?

Well regardless of whether you think it was appropriate, parity was a major goal for Silver in the previous lockout. It's gotten much better the last few years, but Silver's point is that the system isn't perfect given that the massive spike in cap was the only reason the Durant signing was allowed to happen. I don't see why this notion is out of line. It's not a knock against the Warriors as an organization, as Bob Myers as proven himself to be an elite executive. But, Kevin Durant's actions are not the work of god and he is not above any disagreements or criticism.
So let me get this right- Because KD exercised his RIGHT to put himself in the best position to win- and did so within the rules of the CBA- somehow the system is flawed? And because of this flaw KD should absorb the criticism?? Good gawd.

It's Damn if you do, Damn if you don't.

To a smaller degree...

Harden was criticized for leaving a good thing in OKC for more money.

Before him, Joe Johnson's got the same business when he left the Suns for Atlanta.

Marbury and ugly ass Reggie Jackson got the business for leaving a good situation because they wanted to be the MAN.

Yet, we EVISCERATE Durant and James, 100 times worse, for leaving because they actually want to win.

Outside of maybe Cavs, Spurs and OKC fans...

Nobody is more sad than I that KD signed with the Warriors.

But, I don't blame him for leaving.

For years, The Thunder nickel and dimed with the salary cap at the expense of winning.

You reAp what you sow.

Yes it is and what's even more asinine is LBJ/Cavs fans criticizing KD when he followed in LBJ's footsteps.

I hope we have another Finals rematch.

Nothing will ever be Lakers vs. Celtics.

But, this rivalry would be good for ratings and fun as hell to watch.

I am in the minority of fans that don't dislike either Team.

Roslyn Sanchez, Scarlett, Halle pre-crazy could get it on a one night Vegas bender.

Otherwise, I'm driving stick.

Roslyn Sanchez, highly underrated imo. Halle should still be able to get it. Crazier would make it a better one night, obv.

I don't know, Halle looks like she bites.

But, if I can overlook that Billy Bob Thorton sex scene, I can probably overlook anything.

kinda like the big craze for Uma Thurmann a few years back, only in reverse. I was one of the few who said the woman didn't do a damn thing for me. my daughter was the only one who agreed with me at the time...

Uma has a strange sort of beauty.

She's not classically attractive.

hilarious...AND too close to what I myself was thinking with Hallie...

Great minds think alike.

But, if I may objectify her for a moment..

How in the hell does she still look like this in her 50's??????

This was taken last month...
