Jeff Garcia Hired

From Yardbarker - Jeff Garcia has been hired as an Offensive Assistant. Fisher was so impressed with Garcia's interview during the Quarterback Coach search that he created this new position for him.

Since two of Garcia's strengths during his playing days were pocket awareness and extending plays with his mobility, I can't help but think he will make a difference with the athletically challenged Foles, Davis, and Mannion.

I like this....Davis could really use this guys intelligence and athletic abilities to learn from. I really really like this hire. He can only help with our young QB's. Kudo's to Snisher.

Yep I agree on this one as well. The Rams offense has needed a quality QB coach for some time and all of the present QBs on our roster will benefit from Garcia's tutelage.

So now they essentially have 2 QB coaches; the official one (Weinke) and the "offensive assistant" Garcia.

A bit late but I always liked Jeff Garcia. didn't he decide to leave the Raiders because JaWalrus Bustell won the starting job?

Many of you are discussing this like Garcia is going to suit up and play. The reincarnation of Joe Namath and the Rams experiment I presume. He's a coach that has been adding a lot to the guys we have and his coaching effects are noticeable.
