As I said before and got chastised for it, Dalton is Grudens guy.

I will say though, I do think Mallet has all the tools to be a star. I wouldn't have been mad at the time had we taken him.

I don't think Mallett would have had us where we're at.

Isn't Mallet a cokehead? He'd fit right in.

It's hard to say. Physically he 15X more talented than Dalton. But mentally Dalton has him by a mile. So while I don't think we would have been as good right away, he has a chance to be one of the next greats in the long run.

Cam Newton has a chance at being great.

That was what PFT said basically in the article, that it was no surprise that Brown wanted Mallett because he was talented but troubled, and dropping because of it.

I worry about Mallett's maturity and ability to develop, especially if he wound up someplace like Cincinnati.

Mallett's a better fit for what the Pats do offensively, Dalton's a better fit here since Gruden runs a WCO..

Mallett probably needs a couple yrs on the bench anyway...

it worked out best for everyone.

it's been a great QB draft so far, especially with all of the criticism beforehand. Ponder and Dalton are playing really well, and Newton's going to be a probowl caliber QB
