We all know Dalton's faults..... But it's pretty unfair to judge any skill player on this awful offense. Do you watch these guys try to block?

I think any one of us on SportsHoopla could at least fall at a guy’s ankles and trip them up. I’m pretty sure wet toilet paper offers more resistance than the Bengals offensive line. God bless the Brown family. They’ve outdone themselves this offseason.

Dalton is no star. He can't put a team on his back and carry them. However, he is a decent/serviceable QB when given time. His WR's are not getting open, the RB's have no room to run, and he has all of his drop back sequence to get rid of the ball. Once he gets to his drop back location, he is already having to roll out or move around in the pocket to avoid 1 to 3 defenders from sacking him.

I have no idea how many whiffs our offensive line had yesterday. We have to just chalk this hot mess up as a mistake.

We need to sign a OT in the offseason that will be pretty good, and we need to draft another OT #1 and a guard no lower than 3rd round. Might even consider taking C 2nd round.

#1 - OT
#2 - C
#3 - OG

Sign OT from FA. Make Obuehi, Fisher and Bodine backups. Only starter we have on the OL is Boling. We have the talent, but we need an offensive line to get back to the playoffs.

This line is comically bad..... And you a-holes that tried to argue with me about this in the offseason should be ashamed of yourselves for believing Butch Hobson.

This is the only line in the league that could hold Joe Mixon under 3 YPC. I truly believe that. You know who is probably really happy right now? Jeremy Hill. We've been hard on him over the past two years, but I'm not sure it's entirely fair. The guy might end up on a new franchise and do some damage.

I am one of those a-holes. I didn't think it could possibly be this bad. Guys just whiffing on blocks. Guys not blocking anyone. Holes for running lanes are non-existent. I mean, Mixon is having to avoid tackles and break tackles 3 to 4 yards deep in the backfield. Holes that actually do open up are there for about a split second and when it closes and the back tries to bounce it outside, there are four defenders off the edge closing ground in the backfield. Basically, the running style right now, this is where your hole is supposed to be, so just run as hard as you can, and if anyone gets in your way, including your own guy, just try to run him over.

Dalton almost has a smile on his face at all times. I have seen him smile like twice all year, and most of the time it looks like he wants to kill someone. WR's have exactly 1 second to get open space, otherwise Dalton is already off and running and debating on throwing to a guy that is tightly covered or throwing the ball away.

I am good with the whole rest of the team. No issues anywhere else except head coach.

New offensive line, new HC.

This could be a very attractive destination for a HC if the ownership takes initiative and works on that offensive line. The talent is amazing everywhere but OL. That is by far the worst blocking line in the NFL and no one is even close.

Damn it would have been nice to have had those 2nd and 3rd round picks for McCarron. Would have gone a damn long ways in rebuilding that damn OL.

1st round pick and both 2nd round picks (one of which could be the #33 pick). OT - OG - C (Done - Done - Done)

Freaking Browns screwing up the paperwork.

To be fair.... I didn't know they could suck this much. I mean, they are just awful. Watching Ced try to pass block is almost sad.

I'm not sure I agree with the rest of your assessment. I like our DBs, defensive ends, and linebackers. I think we still need more defensive tackles. And maybe another voice in the defensive room. I don't know what the stats say, but my eyes tell me we're pretty awful on 3rd down. Our D is also awful at turning the ball over. Seems like we need another playmaker or two in the secondary..... One that could catch.

I think the receivers (aside from AJ) basically suck. The rookies are too young to judge. Boyd has been hurt, but didn't appear to be making the leap. Core hasn't done anything this season. LaFell is ordinary. We lost two good receivers when Jones and Sanu left and I don't think we're close to replacing them. Though, again, maybe these guys would look good if we had a line.

We probably need another tight end. Kroft is good, but we need another target.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry at this headline.....

Bengals dare Bortles and he wins

Wait, are we still supposed to think the Bengals D is any good right now?

Lawson played his fewest snaps of the season. The Bengals had zero sacks. WJ3 played the fewest snaps out of the CBs. The Bengals set a record for 3rd down conversions allowed.

I’m noticing a trend here. Why play your promising young players when you have mediocre, caplacent veterans that are as incompetent as their coaches? It’s laughable that Marvin is still employed.

Boyd has disappeared this year due to injuries. Core is never on the field. Malone has looked decent in his few attempts. Ross has seen like 5 snaps all season. Lefell is very average.

Our DT are not great except Atkins, but I am okay with them.

What i was referring to good with all the rest, was as a unit. I am okay with the DE's as a unit. The DT's as a unit. The LB's as a unit. The secondary as a unit (although we could use some more tightly contested balls versus always starting our DB's 5 to 10 yards off the line of scrimmage. I don't like zone coverage nearly as much. It makes the QB more comfortable throwing the ball. I would like to see that change.

Kroft is pretty good, we are not resigning Eifert so we could use another TE, where once again, that is a part time offensive lineman.

LT needed
C needed
RG needed
RT needed
backup TE needed

Good lord. Better work hard on that in the offseason. Rest of the team "I am okay with".

At least use Ross as a decoy for fuck sakes. Coaching is abysmal.
