The fine won't do much, but it will get the players name out in the headlines. A couple of these toothless fines and the refs will stop giving the benefit of the doubt to the players. Maybe this is the "boy who cried wolf" penalty. You flop and get called out publicly for it enough, when you really do get hacked there might not be a call.

I think some of you missed the point about the fine for flopping. You're right that the fine is not enough by it's self to warrant players to stop - but the embarrassment of being called out in front of everyone and being called a cheat - is like getting caught cheating on a spelling test for a kid in seventh grade when everyone else did it the right way.

Nothing you said in any of your posts negates what I said, he doesn't play defense all that well, at times even struggling to put up a marginal level. You can't find a counter because there is no counter. Plus, my first comment was more of a joke anyway.
