This really hurts. 22 years old and had already developed into a very reliable, stable guard for us. After he departed, the drop off with Bars out there was very apparent.
It's either Bars or Coward going forward. Coward wasn't "bad" last season after Long agreed to retire. He was an upgrade to a guy who no longer had a place on an NFL field. Not saying much. Bars is one of those guys we've heard about in camp for a couple of years, but never gets a shot. Here it is, I suppose. However, I sort of suspect it will turn back over to Coward soon.
