Gabbert is not good enough but he is a prototypical QB so he gets a pass. Trade Gabbert for Freeman.

Freeman wouldn't be any better, hell he had a better team than Jacksonville and still sucked. Sorry i think Tebow would bring leadership, a winning attitude to the the team and will bring in more revenue.

Because playing with Denver or New England and playing with the Jaguars will get any QB the same QBR.

I agree but I think ultimately the idea is not to be a joke of a franchise and Tebow would just be a publicity stunt. They want players that will earn them respectability not get them moved to LA.

I think it would be a good thing for the NFL overall -> Jags would continue to get their asses kicked, and the "he just wins" argument (the only one he's got going for him) would be deconstructed.

He is a leader, and motivator. That is what a team needs the most. Its obvious this jags coach isnt that. Look at the saints, we are not as good of a skilled defense as some might think but we play with heart and soul and our QB motivates us as well as our coach. Most well coached teams have someone that is motivating them. Tebow is that and thats sometimes all a team needs and to go from there. No Tebow is not going to beat the pats, broncos thats just a sad reality but the reason for that is Jacksonville doesnt have a balanced defense and is snake bitten. The coach thinks this team is a year removed from a sb. If only teams wish they knew what is going on in NO that they are to blind to see. Jags will never win a sb, they need to just win games.

Even if you don't get Tebow pretty much anybody who can throw a football is an upgrade. If I were the Jag's GM i'd feel ripped off if I traded him for a bag of footballs.
